  4. VISIT THE TEXAS MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
    The Texas Museum of Science and Technology (TXMOST) was founded in 2015 with the mission of elevating interest, understanding and participation in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for the Central Texas community. As part of that mission, TXMOST develops and implements educational outreach programs. The museum is also home to Central Texas’ first planetarium, traveling exhibits and the new, permanent ‘Timewalk’ exhibit, created from a gift of fossil and dinosaur bone collections previously on tour throughout the world.
  5. VETERANS MEMORIAL
    The Cedar Park Veterans Memorial is The Crown Jewel of Cedar Park. It honors all veterans—past, present and future. Customized brick pavers and bronze leaves engraved with soldiers’ names and dates of service line the pathway leading up to Memorial Hill, where a 22 ft.- tall, black granite obelisk sits atop a 12-ft.diameter gray granite base of 6 ft.- tall panels. The monument was designed by artist Gregory Beck of Fort Worth, and has some special references to Texas. The base panel honoring the Navy depicts the George H.W. Bush Aircraft Carrier, and the panel for the Air Force shows a B-1 Bomber stationed at Dyes Air Force Base in Abilene. Veterans Memorial Park is located at 2525 New Hope Drive.
  6. BRUSHY CREEK TRAIL
    The Brushy Creek Trail is a 6.75 mile trail with extensive landscaping and scenic views to enjoy. The trail has six parks which lie along it, which provide many different amenities accessible to walkers, runners and bikers. Together, the parks have a collaboration of splash pads, swimming areas, climbing rocks, fishing docks, canoeing and kayaking, disc golf, restrooms and multiple picnic and pavilion areas.
  7. TOUR THE SCULPTURE GARDEN
    The Cedar Park Sculpture Garden is located next to the Cedar Park Recreation Center at 1435 Main Street in Cedar Park. The Sculpture Garden is an exhibit of sculptures that are on an annual rotating display. This year’s new collection features 12 sculptures by Texas artists. Most works of art on display, with the exception of one that is part of the City of Cedar Park’s permanent art collection, are on loan from the artists and are available for sale. However, the artists have agreed to leave their works on display in the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden for a period of at least one year. The City of Cedar Park will periodically issue a Call to Artists to submit their work to be considered for display in the Sculpture Garden.
